Tech Xpert Student Ambassadors help enhance the use of technology in education, foster a culture of innovation, and contribute to a more tech-savvy school community. These students  play a crucial role in their middle schools by doing the following: 

1. Tech Support: Student Ambassadors  provide tech support to both students and teachers by managing  a help desk for  troubleshooting common issues with devices, software, or connectivity.
2. Support the use of digital resources:  Help students and teachers better utilize technology resources including  teaching how to use educational software or online learning platforms.
3. Digital Literacy: Promote digital literacy among students by educating them about internet safety and the responsible use of technology.
4. Coding and STEM Activities: Participate in coding and STEM activities afterschool and attend Saturday coding events such as the Get Ready, Let's Code series involving mobile app development, video game creation, robotics, artificial intelligence , Amazon CyberRobotics Challenge and more. 
5. Earn an industry certification:  At the conclusion of the program, students can  earn the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) industry certification in Powerpoint 2019.

Tech Xpert Teacher-facilitators  are passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping students succeed.  They create a culture of innovation, collaboration, and effective technology utilization within their schools, ultimately enhancing the learning experiences of students and preparing them for success in a digital world. Our teacher-facilitators support the program in the following ways:

1. Professional Development: Attend professional development workshops focused on innovative teaching methods and effective integration of technology into the curriculum. 
2. Model Innovative Teaching Practices: Act as role models by incorporating innovative teaching practices and technology into their own classrooms. These teachers frequently use interactive whiteboards, educational apps, or online collaboration tools to enhance learning experiences for students.
3. Provide Support and Guidance: Offer support and guidance to colleagues who are interested in incorporating technology into their lessons. 
4. Stay Current with Trends: Keep abreast of latest trends and developments in education technology and innovation. Teacher facilitators attend conferences, participate in professional learning networks, and engage in ongoing professional development.
5. Parent and Community Engagement: Engage parents and the community in discussions about innovative teaching practices and technology integration. Teacher facilitators keep parents informed on the program's pertinent information.
