 Students will have an amazing opportunity to engage in computer science and STEM by building their very own functional mobile app using MAD-Learn. This event is open to all MSCS middle school students; however, space is limited to the first 400 students to sign up. You must register between February 5-16, 2024, and you must bring your 1:1 device to participate. 

  Have you ever wondered why you can unlock your phone with your face or hand? Or, why TikTok and Instagram knows what content you are interested in? Or how Netflix or Hulu knows which movies to suggest to you? If these questions spark your interest, then we have an exciting opportunity for you. This interactive session will introduce the concepts of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. You will understand how computers can think and make decisions just like humans! This event is open to all MSCS middle school students; however, space is limited to the first 400 students to sign up. You must register between November 27 and December 11, and you must bring your 1:1 device to participate.   

 Exclusive event for Tech Xpert Student Ambassadors. Travel to Atlanta, GA for an innovative experience at the Curiosity Innovation Lab at Peachtree Corners. Students will participate in learning sessions focused on Virtual Reality​​, 3D Printing​​, UPS Drone Obstacle Course ​, Geographic Information Systems​​, Robotics, Autonomous Shuttle​, Intelligent Mobility, Smart City Technology​, etc. 

 This one-day student conference, I AM THE FUTURE Tech Xplosion 2024, will allow middle school students, teachers, and school leaders the opportunity to explore new technologies specifically in the areas of eGaming, game design, virtual/augmented reality, coding, robotics, drones, aerial photography, and 3D printing. This conference also includes a keynote speaker, live performance and lunch.  

 Choose your adventure: Start with a foundational coding course then choose how you apply your knowledge. Choose from Micro:bit, Sphero, Mobile App Development and Video Game Creation. 

 Can you code an Amazon Hercules robot to deliver your friend’s birthday present on time?  Learn the basics of computer science while uncovering the miraculous ways goods are delivered at Amazon. 

 Come one, come all! Calling all middle school students who would like to learn how to create your own video game, develop a mobile app or program a Sphero Bolt. Join the Tech Xpert Program in partnership with Code Crew for this fun day of learning!

 Our Tech Xpert Summer Immersion Program exposed middle school students to trending technologies. This program allowed students the opportunity to receive hands on training and new experiences, earn industry certifications, and build essential 21stcentury skills needed in a competitive job market.
